  Next competition

So after a brief discussion with friends, hashed out a few ideas... I try to distinguish between the letter of the law nad the spirit of the law.   Hi

As per usual, not exactly up on things... Maybe I should pay attention more. Anyway, is it official that the size of the 'bot is unlimited now? So if I built a robot say, 7' 11 1/2" by 7' 11 1/2" and dropped it down in the arena, and gathered up all (...) (24 years ago, 11-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) NO! there are sets with long sterings in them if you need them. I think it should be a pure Lego just to make it fair for everone. (...) (24 years ago, 9-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: next event

(...) just to play devils advocate....... are you saying it is ok to use non-lego string but it is wrong to non-lego rubber bands? Also just for info: someone put me on to a cool source of "lego like" string. It would seem that if you go to window (...) (24 years ago, 9-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Hi everybody! I'm going to be building a block stacker as well for the next competition. I think that the multiple RCX 1/N is a good rule. I don't like the rubber band rule that you changed so that you can use other rubber bands. They are NOT Lego (...) (24 years ago, 9-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

In lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, Chris Magno writes: Hi Bruce and Chris, I agree with what Chris posted on... (...) What, you never got set 4789, the Lego Technic Fan Belt Accessory Pack? Sheesh. :) Seriously. No fishing wire. That's all i'm worried (...) (24 years ago, 8-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  rules

Hi bruce. I hope you don't mind. BUT I'm posting your message here so that other people can add their ideas. this will also cut down on massive e-mails (...) my take on it was the only thing that invalidated a stack was your robot. In other words, (...) (24 years ago, 8-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: how many

(...) Well if we follow your usual capitalist streak, then whoever can afford a greater number of RCX's and more Lego should get to win more right? I mean, large concerns with a bulk of capital should at all costs crush the poor kids with only one (...) (24 years ago, 8-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  how many

how many robots can one person enter?? if the next contest MIGHT have something at stake (prize wise), then should we concern ourselves with limiting the number of robots a single person can enter? -- Chris Lego Walker now @ (...) (24 years ago, 7-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
