Re: What 50 bags of white tiles can do( was Re: More pics

(...) No I pretty much agree with that....(considering <I'm from St. CathArines>) Its actually fun to drive to the city once in a while (relieves the boredom) But don't forget Iain, he's from Innerkip (Kitchener/Waterloo area). Besides, the homies (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) It was my reaction to your (group) post...may be I was a bit harsh...I said so myself (in the posting, and I gave my reason why, in fact). I wasn't trying to pick a fight....though. As for the "extra" comments, about the filming (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Scott, I'd take Ben's comment as ribbing rather than serious. We seem to have a high post output compared to some other clubs. That's partly because we use our group to thrash through issues, etc. which other clubs do either in mailing lists (...)   Re: rtlToronto now officially not the coolest video Lego group

(...) I was joking. Renting a HDTV camera, for example, the Sony HDW-700A HDCAM, the industry standard HDTV broadcast camcorder (basically the DVW-700 Digital Betacam chassis and transport with a HD imager block) rents for about $1500 USD. That's (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  new set for robot lovers

A quick scan of some other groups has shown a new set that might be fun for a different kind of lego battle. set 8539 is one of those (dumb) BIONICLE(?) sets. BUT, it has 2 IR remote transmitter/receiver pairs. from what I can gather from other (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) RTLToronto / TRAIN2 is a show hosted by ..... tada ..... RTL Toronto. It is a LUG based in ..... tada (again).... Toronto. The first show (event) happened on May 25th, 2001.
