It may not entirely be new information, but the Lego Shop @ Home is now accepting (back) orders for the Gas N Wash Express... this may not be too important for some....it means for me that I can possibly begin to finish the big town sets... Unless Martin is bringing something, the MonLUG'ois are too busy working on their November Train Show and weren't planning to bring any modules. As for us (...) Hi folks, Anyone else bringing modules to train2? I'm counting JeffVW, JeffE, Iain, Ben and myself right now. (think about it, they run through) So you can get away with a track power connector that connects to just the two inner rails... depending on whether you have more (...) Earlier there was some discussion about locomotives slipping (or possibly magnets disengaging) on steep slopes. I'll throw in my current status, too: I've got the materials for my 3 & 2-half modules, and they're cut to size, but I haven't assembled them yet. Having built a number of non-DCC reversing loops, I can tell you it's pretty straightforward to jumper using track power leads, as Larry suggests. It can get pricey if you're buying them from S@H, but I expect most trainheads have more leads and (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
