Re: How many transfer Opening - R20

(...) You dont have to index your EOAT to meet with the TO's. you can fix your EOAT to ONE T.O. and have a mobile base that spins. like say, a syncro drive or maybe a... oh i dont know... a killough platform. I need to make my shooting device (...) (19 years ago, 24-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: How many transfer Opening - R20

(...) I've got to get back to this. I've been sorting my now dismantled Train6 layout. I did 5 1200 tubs filled to the brim with brick and plate on the weekend. I'm so bug eyed right now. I'm not sure how many opening I want. I'm worried about (...) (19 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: How many transfer Opening - R20

(...) In my mind, I see a block shooter like Dereks, but smaller, set on a turret. then you have up to 7 TO's to shoot out of. Chris (19 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: How many transfer Opening - R20

(...) Who says you have to have a EOAT that lives out side 7 TO's??? Why cant you use a EOAT that "shoot" through one of YOUR TO's? now you have all this space INSIDE 6 or 7 TO's? ;) Chris (19 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: How many transfer Opening - R20

(...) I think the issue with using 7 is that there's no room outside the preimeter for the EOAT for transferring the blocks. when I use 6 TO's, the 'diameter' is 9 and a half inches, leaving me 2 and a half inches in which to build the EOAT. At (...) (19 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

How many transfer Opening - R20

How many Transfer Opening will you be planing on putting in your bot? The maximum you can fit in 12" is 7. Im building/built a killough Platform. NOW I have to make it autonomous. I was going to use 7 T.O's, but then Dave at diner suggested that (...) (19 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: 1.0 Playfield

(...) Oh so the walls are white, ok well I guess the value doesn't matter then. Thanks anyways, Vitali (19 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: 1.0 Playfield

(...) The playfield is in my garage (I should figure out how to get to it before March 4th but that's another story) The walls are Tremclad Glos White No idea about the light value. It'll change under different lighting conditions anyway Dave K (19 years ago, 23-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  1.0 Playfield

The rules say: "The Playfield is a wooden arena 8 feet square with a wall around it at around 6" tall. The surface is painted in a grey primer and is made of typical construction grade plywood. No assumptions should be made about the field's texture (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: My very first synchro-'bot

(...) Looks really cool, I'm actually working on something similar with the synchro drive system, some might even call it the cheaped out version of it. :) Hopefully it will work as expected. I think that the synchro drive can work much more (...) (19 years ago, 22-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  My very first synchro-'bot

(URL) the beginning. This is all I'm showing 'cause I want the rest to be a surprise at the competition. I'd have to say that watching the synchro drive work is wowness at it's best.   Re: Nice

(...) Oh, what the heck! That's pretty cool. I'm looking at the LEGO.com page right now, this is like totally Neo Genesis Evangelion or somestuff. Iain (19 years ago, 21-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Nice

I was doing the weekly 'Friday lunch' at the mall with work co-horts and had a boo at the Zellers. Well, no new town sets--actually, no town sets at all. The shelves are packed with Knights Kingdom, Bionicle, the Dino stuff, a few basic tubs... But (...) (19 years ago, 20-Jan-06, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
