  Re: Apache

Thanks, for the help Dan. Unfortunately the harddrive on my iMac failed about 12 hours after I posted my question. Although it's still under warranty, I don't have time before I head to California to get it replaced, let alone setup to were I had it (...) (19 years ago, 1-May-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Honda

I was just going to send this to like 2 people but I figure since we are all Honda lovers, I'd just post it here. (URL) love Honda too! Iain (but I'm geting a smart. OMG is the SiR hatch fast though??) PS - Stunt track is DA BOMB. (URL) (19 years ago, 30-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: HOLD ME.

(...) You're talking about caged bearings. Caged bearings do have a higher coefficent of friction over non-caged bearings, but the friction is constant (in a normal bearing, the balls come into contact intermitently), the life is extended (...)   Re: Apache

(...) Easy. In the root of the port 80 server, create the following .htaccess file: RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^otherserver/(.*) (URL) [P] And that should be it! Now, requests to anything under that directory will be "proxied" to the other (...) (19 years ago, 30-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Apache

Dumb question, because I'm not in the mood to read. I have an Apache server running on my computer. Port 80 and all that. I have another HTTP server running on lets say port 8080. Doesn't matter what it is really, just that it's there. I want to (...) (19 years ago, 30-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: HOLD ME.

(...) This is exactly the picture I had in my head when I imagined what a recirculating ballbearing system would be like. It resembles a caterpiller track. Whenever I see a race of ball bearings I always think their should be somthing inbetween them (...) (19 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)

(...) Linear rails and bearings are amazing. Super precise, super rigid, and highly dynamic. The following pictures should give it away without even any text. :) (2 URLs) We make heavy use of linear rails and guides on all of our robots. (URL) (...)   Re: My Kingdom

(...) I adored that show. And my family still talks of the time when Gage and DeSoto are planning on leaving for a vacation, and I stated that there'll be a fire right in front of the station, and sure enuf, a car pulls up with the camper trailer on (...)   Re: My Kingdom

(...) Well, that's what I meant in that I think the hopper guy has it harder...a lot of the colours don't have corresponding elements, so he's "cheated". Dave only needs those Technic beams...and I guess turntables. Calum (19 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) On it! Well, not exactly that, but I'm getting the 1 x 16 dark blue, and some lime, and some other 'off colours' and seeing what I can do... maybe it'll be the 'rainbow 948', but I've been told that calling it that implies other things...   Re: My Kingdom

(...) That's very true. I mean David is already cheating on things like the turn tables for the steering. He could use an inconspicuous colour like lime green 1x2 technic bricks. The next step is build one with no two pieces the same colour. Derek (19 years ago, 29-Apr-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
