We have this sweet little robot, she (yes she is a girl, as you can tell by her pretty clikits). She uses one RCX powered (...) (20 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: This will make Chris happy....

(...) The attitude has always been, the 8" is a rule, but we'd rather have you at the event with a robot than have you not at the event, with a working bot sitting on a shelf. No one has ever bothered to measure robots, even though I bring a ruler. (...) (20 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: This will make Chris happy....

(...) Awesome! I have one too, and also it may even work. :) It's called Donut, after my favourite character on Red vs. Blue. Re: 9" - you're allowed, so long as you make me another drawing! :) Just kidding. I still have those MD script sheets to (...) (20 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: This will make Chris happy....

I have a 'bot! It might even work. I still have to program it, though, but I think the construction end is done. (...) Yep, mine too, maybe. I haven't checked if it fits in the 8" box, but it might on an angle. However, it definately will fit in a (...) (20 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: This will make Chris happy....

(...) Woohooo! (...) I'm trying to have one done for the competition, but I can't say I've got very far with it. I do however, have a show and tell for Friday's dinner, on a large model I'm planning to build. I think for the first time, I'm going to (...) (20 years ago, 9-Feb-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  This will make Chris happy....

Well on Monday night I had a chance to finish building my bot :) It is a tad bigger the the 8" allotment, but you try using those skinny motorcycle wheels (the ones that come in the mindstorms kit) to sit side by side and still have enough space for (...)
