  Re: OT - "Newton Week"

  Re: OT - "Newton Week"

(...) I have a better idea--I think that 2005 will be great for Calum 'cause floating boats are making a comeback. And the better news is that, instead of trying to find the little 1.5 volt motor in some obscure corner of a hobby store or trying to (...) (20 years ago, 4-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  OT - "Newton Week"

So i was working hard here at work; when I found this link: (URL) this is an idea who's time has come. As a guy from the same country who worked on world time synchronizations (as taught to me by one of those heritage minutes) I feel i MUST help (...)   Re: Costco

(...) As a McDonald's stockholder, I object! Plus they look funny in your pants and the red and yellow striping clashes with most decor. (20 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Costco

(...) Why buy straws when they are free at McDonalds? -Rob A> (20 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Costco

(...) We just got a Costco here and it seems Sam's is cheaper on stuff we've spot checked, has that been your experience there too? For instance, we priced some folding chairs, Target wanted 24, Costco wanted 17 for similar, and Sam's had the EXACT (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Costco

(...) "Anyone" being the operative word, sadly I have a highly addictive personality, with oral fixations. I would be up to a five straw a day habit with in a week, I'm sure. For now, I think I will avoid it, besides, the smell of melting plastic is (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Costco

(...) Or what about the days when you use less?! 10,000 straws ought to be enough for anyone. Calum (20 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Costco

(...) Oops sorry, I'm a week ahead of myself. (...) No, it's something at Costco, I highly doubt it would be duplicated at Sam's. Derek (20 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Costco

(...) Wait a minute, if I had a straw a day habit, that only gives me just over 27 more years, and truly, I want more then that!!! What about the days I want to use more then one straw??? Janey "Would you like fries with that straw? Red Brick" (20 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Costco

(...) Because it wouldn't be this Friday, it would be next Friday, being usually the second Friday of the month, barring whatever excuse I can think of to move it. I don't have a Costco membership. If you're looking for Lego, then no, but if you (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Costco

Does anyone in the group have a Costco membership, is coming to dinner this Friday (Assuming we are having dinner this Friday, wouldn't want to step on anyones toes by suggesting we are having dinner this Friday before any official announcement. :-) (...)   Re: Lego Racers at CN Tower?

(...) I saw a Racers ride in Legoland Germany called Racers 4D but it wasn't a motion ride. Still, I thought it was cute for the intended audience (ie, not me) (...) GMail is extremely well done: I used it extensively for work while in Germany (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) Me too! Got the Rover from my wife! (...) Does this mean there won't be room in the Dakota for me on the 14th? :) -Rob A. (20 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Lego Racers at CN Tower?

(...) We did the Tower last summer ('04 :) and went on that ride...The Lego theme was extremely lame...I am pretty sure they were the same simulators as the tour of the universe. They just had a couple of posters stuck up and a couple of screens (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jan-05, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Whatever happened...

(...) This registered wrong in my subconcious when I first read it, and today I confirmed that "Gamesters" was actually a Season 2 episode, so it wasn't hard to be better than "Spock's Brain". -Ted (20 years ago, 31-Dec-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, FTX)
