  PaB in Toronto!?

I get this call from JohnG today, telling me PaB is in Toronto at the Mastermind at Yonge and Lawrence...so I get in the car and drive to the Mastermind at Royal York and Dundas. Alas, there is no PaB in Etobicoke. So now, you don't have to drive to (...) (20 years ago, 18-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: So what Train is the Hobby show?

(...) Oops... yeah, I know Jeramy that they're two different bridges... I guess that I didn't make that clear. Drove through both bridges :) Very nice architecture all over town...or at least of what I saw in a few hours John (...) (20 years ago, 14-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: So what Train is the Hobby show?

(...) I'm originally from Seymour Indiana (18 miles south of Columbus). The second link is actually a different bridge than the first post (both located in Columbus). Columbus is reknowned for it's architecture and strives to make everything (...) (20 years ago, 13-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: So what Train is the Hobby show?

(...) Ok, found it on the web already (much better pictures than I'd be able to take anyways)... (be patient... it's slooo...ooow) (URL) (20 years ago, 13-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: So what Train is the Hobby show?

(...) My train tracks "float" on my bridge, just like last year (figures, since the bridge is the same). The bridge clears 11-stud wide trains, so it can definitely float sideways a little too, if required.... plus the bridge "floats" on the water (...)   Train Table plans for sale !@$%!!

Caught this: (URL) with by GoogleNews lego alert... "Train Tables Keep Train Sets Ready for Fun - Can be Built D-Y-I for 75% Less than Retail" _Selling_ plans for a train table. Better delete the plans from the RTL site....or start charging for (...) (20 years ago, 13-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) DUDE, I'm not sure how you managed to mess with the pic on that URL, but the playbill ~ I ~ saw looked like this: (URL) is a very clever strategy IMHO, and I applaud Chris for thinking of it." K.C. (20 years ago, 13-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Hobby Show non-Train

(...) Hey Dave, Just writing to confirm my attendance, (unless there is road closures due to storms, or an unforeseen emergency, which I'm sure goes without saying........ although strangely somehow I was compelled to type it). I sent my list of (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Hobby Show non-Train

(...) Yep--you's on da list! Now we just have to get others to verify their attendance and what they're bringing! ;) Thanks for the verification, Keith! See you in November! Dave (20 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Hobby Show non-Train

(...) Am I one of the 14 people? :) I sure am bringing stuff. (...) So there is enough space for me to put up all these as well? (URL) am bringing everything posted here. At least Butters and Inferno/8431) Keith (20 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Hobby Show non-Train

(...) I'm helping out with the organization of the tables. So far we're basically good for space. Thought you'd bring the 'Spaceys' so that's already thought about. Between the 2001 space ships, the train layout, Jacub's big cranes and your space (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: So what Train is the Hobby show?

(...) I know for my layout at home that you can have a full stud gap between rails and the train goes over just fine. This is due to the 'overlap' of the connections. You just have to get power to the separate parts. I have the Train6 tdl--will show (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  To many on topic messages.

Oh I've posted too many on topic messages in a row. That must be against the rtl TOS. To correct this imbalance here's a Homestar link Jeff E. sent me. (URL) Derek (20 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Hobby Show non-Train

David are you tracking table space requirements, or do I need to track down Allen? As you may recall from BrickFest I'll need a full table to display the 12x figures and vehicles. I was also thinking we should order a few extra tables then we need, (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

So what Train is the Hobby show?

So the Hobby Show is Train(n), where (n) is what? David, not that this is for the Hobby Show, but you were talking about some layout changes. Could you TrackDesigner those changes? Let me know if you need a base TDL file to work from. I can send you (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: THe storekeep even sorta looks like Calum...

(...) So I finally watched Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, and simply put, it's the funniest movie I've seen all year. Disturbingly, there's a Toyota Camry with a spoiler through out the film and commentary about radio presets in the car. A (...) (20 years ago, 12-Oct-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
