  Re: scan time....

(...) wow. 35 seconds? That's almost 1 second per square. That's pretty fast. Mine takes almost 4 seconds. I'm just wrapping up my second C$ robot. It only uses 1 motor. Next, I need to start on my marble sorting robot... Steve (21 years ago, 23-Dec-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  scan time....

POINTLESS. but FYI my first attempt at a board scan resulted in a time of 35 seconds. Heck, at that speed, my Project X could have done TWO anti-X times. now, if only I can find some way to program some sort of random number...... think think (...)   Progress report # 1

end of day one: captains log; I now have a simple Cartesian robot, that can move in an X and Y direction. I spent more time on the "test" code than anything else. As of now, I have the Y axis hunting back and forth between 7 spots. I could not use (...) (21 years ago, 23-Dec-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

<snip> (...) (raises hand..) I was the guilty party responsible for trying to sell those sweatshirts to everybody (except Adrian Drake...he doesn't wear sweatshirts...or so he told me..lol).   Train Design Layout for Dave K

I seem to be singularly uninspired--I can't seem to come up with a good train layout for my basement. Here's a current Track Designer file of my basement layout as of today.   Re: I hate lawyers!!!

So now all three companies involved--the telco, the barrister and the collections agency, all assure me that this matter is being looked into and that I do not have to go to court and such. I keep on mentioning to them, however, that I'd like that (...) (21 years ago, 22-Dec-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: This sweatshirt

(...) I make bad assumptions at times--if the 9v adapter works for my current 1.0 RCX, and the 9v adapter works for my LEGO 9v DC motors, I assumed that the adapter was 9v DC. As such, I should just be able to use that 9v adapter for my 1.5 and 2.0. (...) (21 years ago, 22-Dec-03, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)
