Re: Ack! Dimensions? (was Re: Train2 Modules)

I believe the answer to this is Yes (for me any how) All of my modules are 3/4+1&1/2+3/8 (2 5/8 Cool I can still do fractions!) (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Train2 Modules

(...) Hi Tim, JeffVW I believe is doing the corner OpenC1. I should put out a new module map with that change, but you can still take three modules without the corner, there'll probably be balancing out on the other side. I should probably ask (...)   Re: Train2 Modules

Yeah, I'd love to chat about construction techniques, etc. I can just imagine how many bricks you're going through right now. That was a pretty impressive layout you outlined on Brickshelf. Have you got any more pictures to tease us with? Play well. (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Ack! Dimensions? (was Re: Train2 Modules)

Well, I cut all my 1x2's to the correct length, sanded them all down and the plywood too, and then went to put them together. Doh! Who would have guessed that a 1x2 was not really a 1x2? It's actually only 0.75x1.5!?!? This might not come as a (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Train2 Modules

I hear you - I'm working on my third mountain module and *gosh* it uses up a lot of bricks. I'd love to discuss building tips with you at train2 - there's got to be a better way... Jeff E (...) (23 years ago, 27-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Train2 Modules

Well, I think I better scale myself down and go for 3 modules instead of 6. I'll try to fit our stuff into the 3 remaining modules in the lower right of the layout. If I had money and time to spare, I'd go ahead with my grandiose mountain layout, (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Ribbed the wrong way (was:What 50 bags of white tiles can do)

Wow, leave the newsgroups for one night and I miss a whole thread. This is too funny. I'm sorry to see that people's feathers got ruffled, but I can't help laughing. And all because of a "p.s." to Chris at the end of my post. Wow. I have the power! (...)   Re: Train2 Modules

(...) Well that's incredible news! I'm so glad to hear ParLUGment is bringing modules! The position on the layout is not really a problem.   Re: Train2 Modules

  Train2 Modules

Well, I picked up all the 1x2's and plywood to build 3 modules today. Hopefully can get them together before we head out to Windsor on Thursday.
