  Re: LEGO.new is coming

(...) Hooray. Good news from LD. (...) Sounds good...Don't like the 'limiting the assortment' bit, but getting anything done by TLG for us Aussies is a big effort. Anything would be better than what we've got. (...) Australia ??? (...) So this is (...) (24 years ago, 27-Aug-00, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  9v train regulators anyone?

Howdy, Don't suppose anyone locally has an excess amount of 9v train regulators that they'd like to sell to me for less than retail value? I'm only looking for one at the moment though. Santosh (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)

Its a bit like that when you discover all these resources on the net. I remember the first time i came across rec.toys.lego in '96. I was like WOW..all this interest in Lego. (...) I haven't checked it out recently. Maybe it's time I did. I thought I'd have a look in Big W (Southland) on the weekend, and they had an old 8720 motor set there that had been opened. (...) The push train is what I meant, I'm glad it's there. It has the only carriage that "matches" the now old range. The new ones appear wider in the tray, but it's the same track so they'll all be compatible. (...) Well if you can tell it's a door (...) (24 years ago, 10-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)
