Here's my suggestion, it's really mearly a rework of Ross' plan, with added
baseplates. I also added connections betweenthe inner and outer loops meaning
we can run trains on and off that middle bit. I figure around about three
controlers (Inner, Outer and Yard). I've included the .tdl file as well.
There is enough straight before and after the "water" to raise the track to 4
or 5 bricks, or we could use a lower table.
The layout sits on 8 6x3bp tables, though it could be mounted on 6x4s (with
some more straights/plates) or on 4x3s or whatever. We (well,I) need to source
some tables now, though I might wait until we've spoken to LA about the
possibility of sponsorship.

| (...) Looks good! Much better idea putting the cross-overs in rather than the extra yard on the inner loop! What's the chances of getting a lower table for the "river"? That'd be much better for a bridge - even 4 or 5 bricks would make it much (...) (23 years ago, 18-Dec-01, to lugnet.org.au)
