  Re: Spam alert!

(...) I sent him (guessing it's a guy) a "please don't spam me" email: in his apologetic reply he said that he has addresses from lugnet, ebay and brickbay. He claimed that he was sent an extra Tour de France set from Europe and is trying to pass it (...)   World club "gift" missing?

G'day, Just curious...did anyone get the keychain that was supposed to be included with this edition of the magazine. Neither my brother or I did, and I was wondering if this was an oversight, or false advertising on LA's behalf? Also, looks like (...) (24 years ago, 15-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Re: Spam alert!

G'day, The same thing happened to me, although I believe that the addresses were harvested from brickbay [the "seller" had just signed up there on the 12th] as one email address it was sent to [I got it at 2 email addresses] isn't used in relation (...)   Group Minifig Photot at Studfest (was Re: LegO'Z 2000.QLD.01)

(...) Congrats guys. (...) A group minifig photo - this sounds like a cool idea. Lord knows most of the unstudly Studs don't consider ourselves at all photogenic, but a group minifig photo might be tenable. Since the next Studfest is next Sunday, (...)   LegO'Z 2000.QLD.01

  Spam alert!

Hi all, Just a note on some spam I was hit with today from Wee Lean in Malaysia, who is trying to sell Tour de France promo sets (1196-9). I don't trade Lego outside Australia, and I can only imagine that my email address was extracted from Lugnet. (...)   Re: what set(s) should I get?

(...) Grabbed me a 8462 from Chatswood TRU today -- they've still got a few 8448s, and about fifteen 8462s. There are also a few 7171 Podraces for $99 -- best price seen outside of Kmart. happy shopping, DaveL (24 years ago, 14-Oct-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

  Re: LegOz 2001.1 :)

(...) I would add LegOz to the start, so that they relate to each other. LegOz2001.VIC.1 or LegOz.2001.NSW.1 Let's keep the state abbreviations, because that's what these groupings are. -pw (24 years ago, 12-Oct-00, to lugnet.org.au, lugnet.loc.au)

Re: LegOz 2000.7 wrap up. - WARNING

I already got the Tow truck with the Super car last week. I picked up an 8266 competition set, a bit weird, but it has a motor, battery box and lots of other bits for the price of the motor kit ($75). I also got a Rock Raiders Granite Grinder (4940) (...)   OT: Viva Bris Vegas

Off Topic (...) I'm not sure where Bris-Vegas originally came from BUT it started appearing in the Brisbane street press around 1992. (...) 8?) I assume you've got a nice, new tow-truck in there somewhere...I just took delivery of a new car last night, one of Pauls 8865s.
