  Re: Mystery Piece?

What is even more mysterious is that Ben's reply appears as the starting thread when yours should be!! What is going on?? :o) And I've had one of those pieces come off too, from one of the 40xx boat series. Small ship with cargo containers, maybe (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Re: wanted: 10-toothed gear racks

(...) It is 1x4 tile-sized, yes. It is the second item on this page: (URL) bottom item on that page is very long gear rack, and I would be interested in those too, but I suspect they are much rarer. Not many models would want a gear rack that long. (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  RE: Mystery Piece?

It wouldn't come out of the back of one of the early multi-section boat hulls, would it [eg 4005] in the rear section, would it ? [If so, i think it's supposed to be a permanent attatchment, but obviously it wasn't :) ] Benjamin Whytcross (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Mystery Piece?

Hi All, I just finished sorting a huge collection I bought a while back and am left with a piece I think I've never seen before but keep getting the impression that I should know what it is. Anyway, if you saw it for the first time you could (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Re: wanted: 10-toothed gear racks

I think I've got quite a few which I'd swap you for anything good.If you've got some spare old-school grey Technic hubs (the ones that sat in the small and large tyres used for things like the pneumatic forklift) that would be a perfect swap.   wanted: 10-toothed gear racks

Is anyone out there overflowing with 10-toothed gear racks (the kind you can lay end-to-end to make an arbitrarily long rack, not the kind with the connectors on the ends) and interested in selling some? I don't know if these come in any other (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Re: Ninja Line, why was it cut short?

Re: Ninja Line, why was it cut short?

First of all, I don't believe Ninja was a theme, I consider it a Castle subtheme. And for a subtheme, a two-year run is pretty good. Look at other castle subthemes- Wolfpack made two sets in 1992 and was done, Dark Forest did three sets in 1996 and (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

Re: Ninja Line, why was it cut short?

I think that there may be a few reasons that the ninja line was cut short. However I don't believe that they sold "poorly" anywhere in the world. If they did, you would have seen more sets for sale as shop at home phone specials as they tried to (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jul-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.org.au)

(...) Thanks Jane! Mark Wilburn pointed me at this thread since I don't normally read the local groups apart from Canadian ones (life's too short to read ALL of Lugnet!)   Re: Sydney Opera House

Well, there is a really large model of it in Legoland, California. It's shown in "The Ultimate Lego Book" (from DK Books last year.)
