  Re: Typical Target!!

Santosh Bhat wrote in message ... (...) Agreed, Target are only good for their mistakes (i.e. The half price SW Lego sale), it's a pity that bungle didn't teach them anything. Oh, wait, that's right, it didn't help sell SW sets as hardly anyone (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Re: Typical Target!!

Targets don't seem to be in anyones good books anymore. If you're after a good deal pricewise for Lego, nothing beats Big W. They usually have a good range of items too. Also for those who might be financially interested. Purchasing shares in Coles (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Re: Typical Target!!

My local Toyworld had one hell of a time getting the 2000 catalogue off the ordering division in Melbourne - took them over a month to get it, but they eventually received it. And yes, it was free, as stated somewhere else. If Target BSes you about (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Re: So market posts are...? (was: Re: WANTED TO BUY)

Actually, my intent was to find that elusive lugnet.pieces.buy-sell-trade group I've always been wanting, so I can just post piece requests in that group and not annoy anyone. :o) Sorry if I ticked anyone off!!   Re: There really are children reading these newsgroups.

(...) It's probably better to split the lot up. Technic collectors will probably have a number of the sets already, so would not want the whole lot. ebay seems a bit quiet at the moment, or is it just me ? pw <aquanaut@optusnet.com.au> (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

(...) As great as Oz sounds, there's three other places I'd rather be: 1) Iowa - It's my home and my roots are here. 2) Boston - That's the temporary "residence", not home, of the woman I love. 3) Israel - Because that's where the woman I love calls (...)   There really are children reading these newsgroups.

I just got an offer from a fellow in the US who said he might be able to scrape together $150 for my Technic collection. I explained that it would cost a lot more than $150 to get the collection to him and then it occurred to me that I was probably (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)
