I just got an offer from a fellow in the US who said he might be able to
scrape together $150 for my Technic collection.

I explained that it would cost a lot more than $150 to get the
collection to him and then it occurred to me that I was probably dealing
with a child who was hoping to use his allowances for the next six
months.

Anyway, it does not appear to be a good time to try to sell the
collection in one go, so I'll have a go at pricing individual sets and
offering on a first come first serve basis. If this does have the
desired affect then I'll try ebay.

(...) It's probably better to split the lot up. Technic collectors will probably have a number of the sets already, so would not want the whole lot. ebay seems a bit quiet at the moment, or is it just me ? pw <aquanaut@optusnet.com.au> (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)
