  12v track for trade.

I've got 12v track. I'm seriously considering going to 9v (despite the lack of remote points and signaling). To this end I'm looking to do a trade on the track I have now. If there's someone out there in Oz who wants more 12v excellent, otherwise (...) (24 years ago, 12-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Re: mindstorms query

I forgot to say that Myer Queen Street have Mindstorm Vision Command (only 2 sets). Sale-priced at about $180, so normal price is about $220. I think the sale lasts until tomorrow Sunday. Kerry (24 years ago, 11-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Re: mindstorms query

I went to Myer Queen Street today. They have the Robotics Discovery System on shelf but not the Robotics Invention System. They also had the Ultimate Accessory Kit (about 3 of them), priced (from memory) at $112. But note there is currently a 20% (...) (24 years ago, 11-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Pneumatic Parts! (was Re: Split of 5218 (was Re: Lego US S@H))

Well, just like my beloved <set:5235>, the various pneumatic parts (5099, 5107, 5108, 5109, 5116, 5117) are no longer available. In addition, the air tank has never - AFAIK - been available separately. Until now... :-) Unless someone else steps up (...)   Re: mindstorms query

(...) The places I have seen the RIS on the shelf in Brisbane are: * Myer Queen Street, but no suburban Myer * Toys R Us Aspley, but cunningly hidden in the electronics section instead of the main Lego area Dick Smith sells it, but you have to ask (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Re: mindstorms query

(...) G'day! For Mindstorms you might want to check out a Dick Smith Electronics store. If it's not on the shelves they should be able to get one in quick-smart. Ditto for the UAK. Or order it on-line at (URL) The prices are $298 for the Mindstorms (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.au)

  Re: mindstorms query

(...) The RIS is available. Try TRU's or Dick Smith. RIS 2.0 is due out in 2001. RIS 1.5 is the one that's currently available. Myer/Grace Bros may carry it as well. TRU currently have a 25% off sale and Myer/GB's have a 20% off sale, but it ends (...) (24 years ago, 10-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.au)

Pneum Tubing (was Re: Split of 5218 (was Re: Lego US S@H))

I wonder where Lego gets the tubing from. I doubt they make it themselves. I bet there is some supplier that will sell you 100' roll of it for $10. I have seen many close equivalents, but has anyone found a really good match that is easy to order (...) (24 years ago, 9-Nov-00, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug, lugnet.org.au, lugnet.technic)
