Try to disconnect everything that you don't need to get a pic on the
monitor, LED's, floppy, HDD, CD etc. Just leave the CPU and memory
(and the power switch if it's ATX - or use some metal to short the
right jumper pins (on your own risk)).
If it still wont boot try to reconnect the CPU and memory.
If you have a speaker connected it should give error beeps if memory
is not attached. To decode the beeps look into the motherboard manual.
