Yeah, I have used PartitionMagic for years and never had problems with it.
It's a decent recommendation over the other products being discussed.  The
interface is straight-forward enough that one refers to the manuals only
sparingly.

One of the reasons I like PartitionMagic is that I have a tendency to create
a partition for the OS, a partition for apps, and then the rest is whatever
I feel like at the moment.  I put all my "proprietary" files in the extra,
non OS/app partition(s).  Should I need to reinstall the OS or apps, it
never touches *my stuff*.  Should I want to reformat a drive, no worries.
Etc. Etc. Etc...
