  Any WordPress gurus out there?

I am running WordPress for the NCLTC and NCLUG web sites and even though I have turned on the setting which requires registration to comment, I still receive a bunch of spam comments. Anyone know how this is happening and what I can do to prevent (...) (17 years ago, 23-Feb-07, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: Smallest cube ever!?

(...) hmmm. I have a suspicion that most non-integer cubes are impossible because of the way the surfaces can be constructed. Each side of a surface must be constructed out of I + 1/5 J plate units (I and J integer) since we can only make them out (...)   Re: New TLC standard for containers?

Re: New TLC standard for containers?

  Re: Peeron Firefox Extension (beta)

(...) There's a version 0.8? I can only find 0.6. BTW, FF 2.0 is out now, and it says the plugin is incompatible - I'm guessing it's just a version number change or something. ROSCO (17 years ago, 21-Dec-06, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Your website?

Hi guys, I'm looking at options for setting up a content management system for the Brickvention website (it's currently static HTML).   Re: Peeron Firefox Extension (beta)

A friend forwarded this to me, so i figured I'd put you all on to it. The title of this post pretty much explains it all. Here's the link: (URL) (18 years ago, 18-Oct-06, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: Peeron Firefox Extension (beta)

(...) The problem is that it only looks up 4 digit numbers, or numbers in the form of nnnn-n. Oh, and it ignores numbers between 1900-2100. I could easily make it look at 3 digit numbers as well, but you'd end up with that many more false-positives. (...) (18 years ago, 18-Oct-06, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
