This weekend, our kids get Thursday and Friday off, for a 'mid-winter
break'. They still get a week off in March or April, the real 'spring
break'.

| I just learned (to my astonishment) that K-12 schools in Massachusetts allegedly don't have Spring Break near Easter. Instead, kids get a week off in February (this week apparently). I grew up in Minnesota, where there is no week off in February (...) (26 years ago, 19-Feb-99, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
