Re: favorite scooby doo episode —Jennifer Clark
(...) Sure the plots were pretty dire, but the characters were great, particularly Shaggy and Scooby! I can't remember any episodes but I liked these guys. The cartoon of that era I really couldn't stand was Captain Caveman, he just stood there (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jun-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: favorite scooby doo episode —Steve Lane
(...) I liked Captain Caveman but I remember little about the show. I know he lived in a cave situated on top of a van. (...) Ulysses was quiet good but BOTP was brilliant, you can get the video's in HMV but the screen shots are pretty ropey. I'm (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jun-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: favorite scooby doo episode —Dave Schuler
(...) The thing that always killed me about those anime-lite series like BotP, Speed Racer, Marine Boy, Star Blazers, et al was the choppy, choppy, choppy animation style. I didn't mind the goofy dubbing, and I had no problem with the sprawling (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jun-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: favorite scooby doo episode —Steve Lane
(...) the current video's. I have a very poor memory of the show but It's still one of my childhood favourites. I remember the gold version of the Phoenix, and I remember a string of police cars combining into a snake. And driving a race car that's (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jun-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: favorite scooby doo episode —Jennifer Clark
(...) I bought one recently and the quality of the video is pretty bad, so if this would bother you you were probably right to avoid it. It is still great to watch though, 7 Zark 7 is even funnier in retrospect :-) Jennifer (23 years ago, 5-Jun-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: favorite scooby doo episode —Jason J. Railton
(...) I'm with Jennifer on this one. I always thought Captain Caveman was rubbish. I saw it recently and realised why. It's full of pauses between dialogue, like really hammy child acting, and most irritating of all it's got a laughter line that (...) (23 years ago, 5-Jun-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: favorite scooby doo episode —Steve Lane
(...) I've just found a picture of the spacecraft that replaced botp's Phoenix, what a pile of *%^"£$!$^&! The Phoenix is a retro styled classic that still looks good today, but it's replacement is an insult to the name. It looks like one of those (...)
