No, it means that everyone has the possibility to have different numbers for
each message, if they're using different news servers. Theoretically, the
numbers could still fortuitously line up perfectly.
Here, on the other hand, where there is a single news-server, you're guaranteed
to see the same article-number as everyone else for each message.
