  Re: subway info?

(...) Those are easy, all it takes is some combination of faster reflexes and/or a bigger engine. I'm referring to the kind where you are in essentially stopped traffic and you get to a point where someone will have to give. I'm a big fan of (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: subway info?

I'm so glad I live here in Northern California where driving is of two types: 1) Parked on US 101. 2) Racing madly through San Francisco, down 1 way streets (usually the worng way) searching for the last parking spot in the city. Never mind the (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: subway info?

(...) You only did that once? Wimp :-) Besides there is a reason we drive like we do here. If you didn't drive that way you would never get anywhere.   Re: subway info?

  Re: subway info?

(...) So's Rainman... what's your point? :-) I dunno if it's actually true though. I haven't met a Boston driver I couldn't beat through a squeezedown (think the merges on old I 93 coming into downtown, or the merge shuffle to get to the callahan (...)   Language (was: Re: TLG and "Seeding")

(...) In fact, I've been known to comment that we drawl our Rs around here to make up for the fact that y'all don't say yours. :) -JDF (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: TeenLTC?

(...) Indeed. It kind of dates you if you admit ever having imbibed it. My favorite way to drink it was (while working on the Delta Sigma Phi snow statue for Michigan Tech Winter Carnival) half frozen. We'd park a case in a snowbank at the start of (...)   Re: TLG and "Seeding"

(...) Were those my only two choices? :-) I didn't find it all that hard to parse, it is only at [not level]2.. I've seen Todd do 5 or 6 without breaking a sweat, and he's wasn't even BORN in Boston.   Re: I'm on my way to the weddin'!

(...) Certainly not. All of you here at LUGNET are what keep me sane about my own MOC-creating skills. If I were able to compare my MOCs to stuff like 8007 and 6407, I'd think I was the bomb, creating stuff better than even Lego releases. Since (...) (24 years ago, 2-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
