wonderland. I can't believe that they sold to over 80,000 people!
...Existing DIVX discs will be non-playable within two years. Will anyone
be selling non-limiting, DIVX-capable players to tap the abandoned market of
80,000?

It was a corperate ploy to milk consumers for more money, and most people didn't fall for it. ;) Actually, I think they were having a hard time getting movie companies to make DIVX discs.
