  a poem: in-laws, go home

Here I sit, in my biology lab like a proud little scientist gnome but the reason I'm here, I'm afraid to say, is because I don't want to go home. My wife invited her parents up, and they obliged as they were inclined and as the days pass with each (...) (21 years ago, 3-Apr-03, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) Dogs of War is the biggest detriment to that, or *any* album. It definitly doesn't fit at all with the rest of the record! That one just bugs me--when I taped the album, I left that one out. RW--Radio KAOS--nice. Pros and Cons of Hitch (...) (21 years ago, 1-Apr-03, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Song of the Brick (was: Song of the Bomb)

Now, the real funny thing is that I came on line just now to ask a very similar question about songs of a certain subject. Only for me, I was going to ask if anyone can think of songs that have titles or lyrics that somehow relate to the Lego hobby. (...) (21 years ago, 31-Mar-03, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Song of the Bomb

Okay, I was listening to the new Fleetwood Mac song "Peacekeeper" and wondered what it was all about. I googled it and found the lyrics: (URL) looks like it's about nuclear destruction (at least that how I interpreted it) and that got me to thinking (...)   Re: A fun effect for a web site...

It doesn't work in Mozilla, I already knew that (but forgot to tell you all ;-) ) but why it crashed your IE is a good question. It is very resource heavy so your computer may not have been powerful enough. I dunno. (...) (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: A fun effect for a web site...

(...) Yes, that is what it is supposed to do... Make one logo split into 5, one staying stationary and 4 going outward in separate directions, and then the 4 extras fade away into nothiness. It is cool and fun, but that is it. (22 years ago, 28-Mar-03, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.off-topic.fun)
