Okay, I was listening to the new Fleetwood Mac song "Peacekeeper" and
wondered what it was all about. I googled it and found the lyrics:

http://www.fmlegacy.com/peacekeeper.html

It looks like it's about nuclear destruction (at least that how I
interpreted it) and that got me to thinking about how much I used to fret
about it growing up in the 80s *and* that got me back to song about global
war and destruction on a grand scale.

So, I was wondering about tunes that reflected that kind of mood/idea.
Here's a few that I got off the top of my head. Anyone know of any others?

Eve of Destruction - McGuire
99 Red Balloon - Nena(?)
Stand or Fall - The Fixx
Showdown at Big Sky - Roberston

-Evil Wayne

Now, the real funny thing is that I came on line just now to ask a very similar question about songs of a certain subject. Only for me, I was going to ask if anyone can think of songs that have titles or lyrics that somehow relate to the Lego hobby. (...) (22 years ago, 31-Mar-03, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
