The real tragedy here is that the boy has no hope; his life seems to have been
such that he considers death to be the real gift. Who has really failed him? I
wouldn't blame the doctors. I wonder if he has been raised to believe that he
is a mistake, rather than a human being of inherent value? Probably a mistake.
