I think it’s a cross between hatred of the cheesecake “O, confection! What
hast thou wrought upon my stomach!” and self-hatred “O, weak man! What hast
thou wrought upon thyself?” Either way, it descends from the initial love.

As an aside, I am starting to get rather alarmed about your preoccupation
with ingesting cheesecake in one sitting, Dave! Not to pry, but are you
seeking professional help for this?
