That’s my point! It was HIS job to get that perception, and way back then!

He claims to have asked for a meeting with Bush 3 days after he came to power. RC wanted to talk about OBL; Bush only wanted to hear about Iraq! Listen for yourself.

In the same BBC interview, he also claims that Rumsfeld wanted to bomb Iraq on 9-11!

Sounds about right!
