Many Jews feel that a Jewish state is the only place on earth where they
can be reasonably safe. A feeling that’s not wholly unwarranted, given
details like the WW2 “Endlösung” and current worldwide antisemitism.

What do you mean by “current worldwide antisemitism”; can you show than
anti-Semitism is anymore prevalent that other forms of racism? After all,
prisons in the USA are not full of Jews! Does racism against blacks not count?
What happened in WW2 does not justify the actions of nationalist (not Jews)
in Israel today; just like SH invading Q8 does not justify a war 10+ years
later!
Most Jews don’t want the West Bank. Most do not want Gaza. I read a while ago
about a Rabbi who journeyed to Peru(!) to covert 90 Peruvian Indians on
the condition that they lived in the occupied territories afterwards. Why do
Peruvian Indians have more right to live there than a family who has done so for

Israeli nationalists (not Jews) break international law, oppresses a people,
murder civilians and then acts like a petulant child when criticised. WW2
justifies none of that.
