Hemp is a great fiber.  Works most places cotton or wood work (paper, clothing,
and rope).

If you can get your government to realise it. Here in Australia, many people
have been lobbying for years to make it easier to get approval to grow hemp
for these kinds of products, but they *still* have to jump through hoops. I
guess the pollies have too many shares in cotton & sawmills.

(why do you think they call it "smoking a rope"???)

Never heard that one!

As far as pot goes, well, to each his own...at least as far as legal in the
country that they are in.  None for me thanks, it and I don't get along at all
well...

I've not smoked dope for many years, but I also have no problem with others
doing so.
