I've more often envisioned that when they came to my house, I'd invite them in,
and explain my religious perspective to them. I'd probably quite enjoy it.
Presuming I wasn't in the middle of something.
Actually, someone did that to me on the street once, actually. He was
interested in converting people, I guess, so he walked with me a ways, but
stopped after a few minutes and left. Nice guy, and I didn't mind-- he wasn't
overly pushy or anything.

I haven't noticed it at all on Lugnet. Quite the opposite in fact. Many more
times I've seen athiests (etc) try and convince the "Christian at large" that
one cannot believe in God, can't take the Bible on faith, etc. If it's war
you're declaring, I think probably the best application would indeed be to go
track down some Jehovah's Witnesses and explain it to 'em. I'll cheer you on :)

| Hey Y'all: Reading another thread has put me squarely in mind of my real problems with Xtianity, and more particularly with Xtians in a more general way. [note: I don't so much mean the Xtians taking part in the other thread, many of whom are making (...) (23 years ago, 16-Nov-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
