Overall, the rods and bars of MegaBloks are the same 8LDU diameter as LEGO rods, likely because Ritvik was smart enough to make its figures' hands the same grip size as LEGO minifigs, thereby creating at least a small demand for MegaBloks (...) | | | | (...) Best-Lock is 20LDU's tall, while LEGO is the "correct" 24LDU's tall. That means, of course, that six Best-Lock bricks are as tall as five LEGO bricks, so you can cheat a little. Even better than that, Best-Lock has some 1x1 and 1x2 bricks with side studs; given the 20LDU height, you can stack several of these and make a secure perpedicular mounting surface for bricks.
