  Re: The mythical gender-changing plates

(...) It seems to me that I've seen a single stud double male part also (I'll have to dig into my clone-brands bucket tonight). I've also not checked what the actual thickness of the double male part is, it definitely is going to cause glitches in (...) (24 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: The mythical gender-changing plates

Why don't people ask me? I'm one of the BEST resident experts on clones and clone piece types. Tyco made male to male gender changers. They unfortunately have a 1/6 bick space that the studs attatch to. (For those that need help understanding the (...) (24 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: The mythical gender-changing plates

(...) Aw, Rich, that hurts! You know I'm also a quite rabid apologist for clones! Dave! (24 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: The mythical gender-changing plates

(...) Yes Dave, I know. You - me, a few others, (Joseph Gonzalez to be notable as well). But how many know how many colors these things come in? (Some of my close WAMALUG peers would say, that's a bad thing, but I don't care.) Rich -- Have Fun! (...) (24 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: The mythical gender-changing plates

(...) Hmm... You raise a good point, and you also bring to mind another question: Do you have any idea how many "non-standard" clone pieces there are? That is, pieces that aren't readily equated, in terms of shape, to existing Lego pieces? That (...) (24 years ago, 31-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: The mythical gender-changing plates

(...) Are we gonna stick with things that have a stud, and/or "hole," or that can be held onto by a minifig hand, (dowel {sp?} diameter), or are we gonna go the "full" spectrum. This would includ any non-standard minifigs, and any accessories that (...) (24 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Richard Schamus wrote in message ... (...) You've been making misteaks again, you must have just been testing our knowledge that the part is 2x2 not 4x4... Frank (24 years ago, 1-Apr-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: The mythical gender-changing plates

(...) OOOPs! Where was my mind at. (I was "thinking" 4's... 2x2). Sorry for any "mess with the people" stuff. (How many times do I have to type it?) 2x2 2x2 2x2 2x2 2x2 ... Rich -- Have Fun! C-Ya! Legoman34 ***** Legoman34 (Richard W. Schamus)... (...) (24 years ago, 2-Apr-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Gender-changing plates -- in new MegaBlocks sets?

(...) [actually 2 X 2, as noted by another poster] (...) O.K., for the first time my local TRU has a rather large selection of MegaBlocks. I was impressed with the high price:part ratio in their sets, and some of the models actually looked quite (...) (24 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Gender-changing plates -- in new MegaBlocks sets?

(...) with (...) John, bite the bullet and find that battleship set, I have sixteen of them. It sells out at the stores I frequent too. Heaps of light grey bricks, light grey plates, black plates and transparent 1x1 cylinder elements. (some plates (...) (24 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Gender-changing plates -- in new MegaBlocks sets?

(...) I've got inventories of some of them on my site. According to those, the #9761 Desert Patrol has 11 tan double-sided 2x2's. That's all I see, but I don't have inventories of the #9745 WaveBreaker or of the two new smaller green military sets (...) (24 years ago, 3-May-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Gender-changing plates -- in new MegaBlocks sets?

(...) There are about a dozen or so in the USS Kitthawk aircraft carrier. All light grey in colour (like most of that set). Kerry (24 years ago, 6-Nov-00, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)
