Some of you may recall (URL) these> variations on the Classic Space theme. In the spirit of continuing my homage to that fine genre, (URL) here's> another small offering. I envision it as a light strike fighter or probably a scout ship. Enjoy! Dave! (21 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.space, FTX)

Well, after dabbling with Mega Bloks and Intelli-Blox on and off for the past decade I've decided to abandon efforts to cross-brand my building. I've debated the relative merits of clone use back and forth for some time. I can't say it's any sort of (...) (21 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(...) Doesn't this have more to do with MegaBloks being a hometown company than a marketing failure on the part of TLC? I wouldn't expect a big MegaBloks display in a toy store in Billund. Marc Nelson Jr. (21 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Well, here is an other example of good marketing execution by Mega Bloks... And a bad one by LEGO, in my view. November 13th, 2004, a new toy store opened in Quebec City : (URL). They have many specialised sections, one of them about construction (...) (21 years ago, 14-Nov-04, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) Ha ha ha, okay, okay. I guess I have painted myself and many of my MOCs as BTR proponents. Thanks for that info Dave! I also thought that the BTR line was finito. TRU and Wally World (Wal-Mart) had cleared out their shelves for the last time, (...) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-04, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, FTX)

This might be of particular interest to (URL) Christy> and (URL) Pamela Hale,> but all are welcome to look: I just checked out the Hasbro website to gather some info on the (I thought) discontinued BTR line, and I discovered that there may be a (...)
