40% off sale at Kohl's (M***bloks, NOT LEGO)

If'n you were curious about the Dragons sets nows the time to buy as Kohl's will have their entire stock of Megabloks construction toys 40% off (their normally inflated prices) during their 2-day sale Friday & Saturday October 4 & 5 8am-10pm. -- (...)   Re: New MegaBloks a-comin!

(...) Yeah, at 75 percent off they make nice space ship detail parts too! :-) On that note, it looks like the Mega Bloks fire engine ladder peices might make some nice catwalks. (...) -Mike Petrucelli (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: New MegaBloks a-comin!

(...) Pretty cool to have a ready-made inventory. But getting back to the above list, the 1x2 tiles are VERY cool. Things are REALLY starting to heat up with clones I think. (...) Well, how about the day *after* tomorrow morning... A little on the small side, but you get the idea:(URL) here's a shot of the fire axe, jaws-of-life, and fire extinguisher nozzle with a 2x4 plate for scale. Sorry about the annoying glare: (...)   Re: New MegaBloks a-comin!

(...) Hmmm, I like the marbling... I guess I should have realized I had hundreds of 2x2 bricks in Dino and Galaxy colors, it's just that many of the newer sets use numerous 1x2 bricks instead of ANY 2x2 bricks. I never thought of it as element (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: New MegaBloks a-comin!

(...) Their 2x2 brick seems less common in ProBuilder models than in earlier MB series. The old dinosaur sets were lousy with them; I have the sense that the designers sometimes chose two 2x2 bricks rather than one 2x4 brick for the sole purpose of (...)   Re: New MegaBloks a-comin!

(...) One of the cool new features of MB instructions is the illustrated and numbered piece inventory. I'll try to scan and post the image tomorrow morning. For now, here's an abridged piece breakdown. 2 black 1x2 tiles 2 clear 1x2 tiles 6 (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: New MegaBloks a-comin!

(...) Mega Bloks does make 2x2 bricks. They do have way too many holes in their slope selection though. -Mike Petrucelli (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: New MegaBloks a-comin!

I was not really interested in this set, but if it has enough good pieces... (...) That (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: New MegaBloks a-comin!

(...) Why worry about it? Just buy the MB and they can continue to improve their product with the increased revenues. I am not really that keen on any manufacturer's "model team" type models, but MB DOES make some wonderfully unique elements. And at (...) (22 years ago, 1-Oct-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Jeeezzzzz..... (I know this has been voiced many, many times but...) If only Lego would produce sets with this piece count/price/size/playability value, they would sell a gazillion of them. Ron (22 years ago, 30-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(URL) to Christopher Dean for the heads-up) (URL) own this one--it's quite cool.   Coko Bricks Review

Set: #51518 Patriot Missile (Military) 750 pcs, 319 SEK (~US$ 32.00) @ Biltema, Sweden. Mechanic compability: Very good, except the stupid measurements of the hollow studs (Type 2).   TRU Faux Pas!

During the past weekend I discovered a cool and huge new MegaBloks Firetruck at a local TRU, containing about 1100 pieces for $50.   Re: My new Oxfords
