Might well be true. Maybe Lego's market is punters with either only a
casual interest in construction toys (probably as default gifts for other
people children - don't underestimate the size of this market), and those
with obscenely deep pockets. MB's market is the budget conscious folk,
those with a serious interest in great big models, and those not interested
in construction toys so much as fun play toys (as in Dragons).

I'm being facetious. I can't imagine how Lego could think the two companies
markets don't overlap much. MB isn't into the technic or computers, but it
is probably a little deeper into RC. Lego has a ton more sets and
variations, but one would have thought there's an 80-some percent overlap...

| During the past weekend I discovered a cool and huge new MegaBloks Firetruck at a local TRU, containing about 1100 pieces for $50. At my lunch hour today I stopped by a different TRU with the intention of purchasing it, but I didn't see it on the (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands, lugnet.fun)
