That could be an issue, but Steve should tackle that one. I don't know how
your MegaBlok parts unzip (and you know me, the anti-clone, good luck
getting me to download them) ;-)
Are your parts named with a prefix that distinguishes them from the numbered
LDraw parts? It might be a good idea to have a standard prefix requested of
clone DATmakers so they unzip this way, and also to request the files unzip
into parts, p, and s respectively.

I don't know how LDraw.org should act in situations like this - something up
for discussion. It would be nice if they are going to use the format they
respect the wishes of the org which provides it. Again, we have no real
authority to enforce any branding wishes, I see it as a respect issue.
Thoughts?
BTW - note that LDraw.org still uses the improper term 'LCAD' in the parts
update files, because Steve hasn't found another name for the files which
fits 8.3 :-) (everywhere else on the site it isn't used though)

According to the license.txt file provided in LDraw027.exe, both commercial
and noncommercial use is permitted. So what they are doing is fine.
Another note - there is a LEGO employee who asked for permission to use
LDraw to generate images of LEGO parts for a company site :-) Kinda
interesting...

This may be bad news for Ryan Farrington, who not so long ago went to considerable trouble to write some very cool DAT files for K'nex parts, too: (URL) A (...) (23 years ago, 16-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad)
