  Re: Peeron Firefox Extension (beta)

(...) Well I'm no expert either, but there seem to be right and left CSS properties that may be able to do it. I haven't really played with CSS much though, Tim G would be the guy to ask. ROSCO (20 years ago, 17-Oct-06, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

(...) Simple - it's only set up to run on certain sites... I'll add yours to the list though. (...) I'll look into that - if I can figure out how to do it, sure :) (...) I noticed that - if you could help me figure out the CSS for the peeron_popup, (...) (20 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

  Re: Peeron Firefox Extension (beta)

(...) Hi Dan, I have 2 questions: 1. It doesn't seem to work for all pages, see (URL) any idea why that may be? 2. Is it possible to put the counter on the status bar instead of over the page corner? If the page is not scrollable it can obscure text (...) (20 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Re: Supply-Side Economics? The Evidence Says No!

  Re: Peeron Firefox Extension (beta)

(...) WOW! works fine, but you should add a note telling that firefox could block the installation of add-ons based on your settings. at least I had to allow the installation and had to add peeron to the list of harmless sites. w. (20 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

That's right--it's a disastrous policy divorced from reality and favored only by the very wealthy who understand its implications and the not-so-wealthy who don't. End of debate! (...) (...) I give your weak attempt at humor a 2.5 out of 5 (whoopie-cushions). As for the study, I was under the impression that the whole debate WRT supply-side economics was all but over. It worked fabulously for Reagan (spending did him in). It is (...) (20 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

  Peeron Firefox Extension (beta)

Re: Supply-Side Economics? The Evidence Says No!

(...) While I suspect the conclusions of the study are correct it seems like a highly flawed study from that write-up. For one thing calling Australia a low tax country is a little odd considering that the top rate was about 50% until very recently. (...) (20 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)

Supply-Side Economics? The Evidence Says No!
