(...) XFUT o-t.fun I think my current top 5 are Megatokyo (by a wide margin, it's just sooooo good) Sinfest Sluggy Freelance Real Life Penny Arcade (those guys are huge... they can make a game move up in ratings signficantly!) with Mac Hall (would (...) (...) But REALLY funny... I just read the whole thing from start to finish, and it sort of reminded me of Penny Arcade. Same drawing style and some of the same themes but translated from games to movies. (22 years ago, 8-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(...) Hmmm, for .geek you need the Slashdot. (URL) And perhaps that Babelfish site from altavista, easy url to remember though. www.techtv.com and www.cnet.com are good places to geek-out. www.fileplanet.com for all your geek game needs. That's an interesting explanation, but I'm kind of surprised to hear you offer it, since it's strongly reminiscent of Jesus as portrayed in The Last Temptation of Christ. That film is one of my (...)   Re: New Megabloks molds!

(...) Perhaps this is connected to the recently posting that identified (one of) the molding company that MB uses? I own the Destroyer, and I'm a fool for not realizing the difference sooner. I notice also that the new Bradley kit has the same (...) (22 years ago, 8-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: The Brick Testament parts the Red Sea

  New Megabloks molds!

Today I discovered that Megabloks has started using new molds, at least for its 2x4 bricks. A few days ago I built set #9762 Destroyer. Somehow the bricks felt different. I'm still not sure why, but closer investigation has revealed: 1) the logo is (...) (22 years ago, 7-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

(...) Well, I've never met a Dave I didn't like, so there's a personal axiom--I've never met a Dave I didn't like! No recollection needed. Though, thinking of it now, not too many Larry's I didn't like, either. But just those two... Dave K. (22 years ago, 7-Dec-02, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
