You're right. You always should buy as many copies as you can. But as
always, you're too late!
The same concerns the Black Cat. When it was introduced back in '97 I bought
one copy. The year after I bought my second one. When my mother said there
was a sold out in a big store (in 1999) and the were also discounting the
Black Cat I immediately bought another two copies! Man, there was a VERY
HUGE pile of Black Cat trucks (about 60% of the normal price!). OK, I still
was a student and I had lack of fund to buy more (I don't spend all my money
on LEGOs). Nowadays I would have bought ALL OF THEM! I think there were
about 50 of them ;-)
