Volvo FH16 with 3 axle Goldhofer step frame trailer, Scale 1:13 —Anders Gaasedal
Hi everyone, Here is my latest creation (URL) This is my third large scale truck. It has been quite fun to built a truck with a step frame trailer. Its a model similar to a truck from a Danish hauler, Henning Petersen A/S in Herrestrup. (URL) The (...)      (...) Wow. That's a veritable tour de force! I can't believe you got all those features to work at that scale... Spotlighted, and thanks for sharing. Your site is worth poring over for quite some time. How are you going to top this one??? So I take (...) (19 years ago, 23-May-05, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Volvo FH16 with 3 axle Goldhofer step frame trailer, Scale 1:13 —Anders Gaasedal
(...) Hi Larry, Thanks for the very nice comment to my truck. The truckdriver is an old schoolfriend of my father so I have known him for many years, and had a lot of nice rides along with him, both in- and outside Denmark. I do not work in the (...)         Re: Volvo FH16 with 3 axle Goldhofer step frame trailer, Scale 1:13 —Olof Dahlberg
(...) Very impressive! Thankyou very much for sharing, it is this kind of effort that keeps me going with my large project, a 1:20 PBY-5A Catalina (it has been slow going now for a while...) Olof (19 years ago, 23-May-05, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic, FTX)

(...) I have some pictures on my Brickshelf account: (URL) I have done more work since these were taken, mainly on the wing and nose (wing covering, engine mounts, nose-wheel and cockpit) and I started out 1 1/2 years ago by "laying the keel" in (...)      (...) Hi, That's wonderful. The use of rare color is great (sand blue). I've not seen videos yet but pictures are also very good and website comments are a pleasure to read. Thanks for sharing. I don't like STAMP (stickers across multiple parts) but (...) (19 years ago, 23-May-05, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Volvo FH16 with 3 axle Goldhofer step frame trailer, Scale 1:13 —Anders Gaasedal
(...) Hi Didier, Thanks for the nice reply to my new truck. Im glad you like it. I understand your concerns regarding the STAMP, but I also think it is ok in this case.         Re: Volvo FH16 with 3 axle Goldhofer step frame trailer, Scale 1:13 —Jean-Marc Détraz
(...) Hello Anders, Another MASTERPIECE! No other way to describe it better! Great attention to details! I'm actually a truck driver and I could see myself driving this gem...Of course the lego version. My truck has only 425HP with a 13 gears tranny (...)          Re: Volvo FH16 with 3 axle Goldhofer step frame trailer, Scale 1:13 —Larry Pieniazek
(...) This prototype, if I read the info right, has like half that HP... Denmark is not completely flat by any means, either. Lots of gear jamming there I bet. One thing that I didn't comment on before is the rather (to my view) bizarre axle (...) (19 years ago, 23-May-05, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Volvo FH16 with 3 axle Goldhofer step frame trailer, Scale 1:13 —Olof Dahlberg
(...) The weight limits vary greatly, EU standard is 40 tons I think, and I beleive Switzerland (not in EU) has 28 tons, but this is what most trucks look like here in Sweden: (URL) 25,25 meters long (82,8 feet) and 60+ metric tons (138000 lbs) (...)          Re: Volvo FH16 with 3 axle Goldhofer step frame trailer, Scale 1:13 —Jennifer Clark
Nice model Olof, I enjoyed the working features and the colour scheme is fantastic, very industrial looking. (...) I think the prototype has 520HP, which is pretty good going. They generally say that 10HP per ton is a good power to weight ratio. (...) (19 years ago, 24-May-05, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Volvo FH16 with 3 axle Goldhofer step frame trailer, Scale 1:13 —Olof Dahlberg
(...) I have to clarify this: I did not do the truck, I just responded to the question of European truck standards by giving an example of how trucks usually look in Sweden. Anders Gaasedal in Denmark built the truck. Play well! :-) Olof (19 years ago, 24-May-05, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Volvo FH16 with 3 axle Goldhofer step frame trailer, Scale 1:13 —Nathan Bell
(...) Tubular! That is the best one yet! All those functions? It is like modelteam and technic combined. Very few builders can do that. I never really got into model team because I thought it restricted functionality, but your truck disproves that (...) (19 years ago, 23-May-05, to lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Volvo FH16 with 3 axle Goldhofer step frame trailer, Scale 1:13 —Anders Gaasedal

Re: Volvo FH16 with 3 axle Goldhofer step frame trailer, Scale 1:13 —Bruce Hietbrink
Hi Anders, This one gets my highest praise: When I saw the thumbnail on Brickshelf I didn't think it was LEGO, but instead assumed it was a photo of the real truck, perhaps as a building reference.
