(...) It's a shame Lego doesn't make them at all! You could always paint them :-) Jennifer Clark had success with painting 1x7 liftarms. Great model, and Im surprised that the bend in the tower and the boom dosent show... Anyway I dont have that big interrest in tower cranes.. bring on a mobil crane or a crawler crane!!!! Hi Thomas, Thanks for sharing the pics! Strange boom construction does the crane have. Most times the boom is built of technic bricks. Anyway, never seen such a construction on such a big crane! At this past TEXLUG meeting, I met a guy with an awesome crane. Steve built a great model of a Manitowoc 888 heavy duty crawler crane. Hello Finally I have started to build this machinery, and sofar I have the undercarriage completed for about 70% and believe me, this is big.
