  Re: YATA Selling MOC Instructions...

(...) for (...) Hi Bram, (changing newsgroups a bit) I would be wildly more likely to buy a book of the stuff that you think is best from across your themes than to buy instructions for one thing. If you could produce something that included glossy (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jan-02, to lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.publish)

(...) Which models do you suggest? (...) It still sounds like a heck of a lot of work and a huge investment of time (and possibly money), and I don't have much of either. But if it's worth it, I might consider it. (...) Can someone who has (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.publish)

  Re: YATA Selling MOC Instructions...

(...) You will find that printing in colour is a lot more expensive than black-n-white. Perhaps an alternative is to publish on a CD-ROM, which is cheap to produce and distribute, and then people can choose to print individual pages if they wish. (...)   Re: YATA Selling MOC Instructions...

(...) True, it is easier to copy, but if someone is wanting to try out the idea of selling instructions for MOCs and doesn't want to make the large capital investment needed to get colour books printed, then CD-ROM would seem the way to go. Yes, (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jan-02, to lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.publish)

  Re: YATA Selling MOC Instructions...

(...) Going the digital route is definitely less capital and time intensive. Although everyone almost universally prefers print, as the producer of the instructions you would have a tremendous amount of overhead both in terms of time and money if (...)
