YATA Selling MOC Instructions... —Bram Lambrecht
(YATA = yet another thread about[1]) In response to: (2 URLs) like many of us, have been asked for building instructions several times...generally when I receive an email about my site, it includes a plea for instructions (or an entire kit). Suppose (...) (23 years ago, 19-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.appraisal)

Bram, Would you be will to share the how that image was produced. I have tried MEGAPov and the find_edges post_process, but I have never gotten results like that. I looks good. Bob (...) (23 years ago, 19-Dec-01, to lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.appraisal)

Re: YATA Selling MOC Instructions... —Kerry Raymond
(...) You will find that printing in colour is a lot more expensive than black-n-white. Perhaps an alternative is to publish on a CD-ROM, which is cheap to produce and distribute, and then people can choose to print individual pages if they wish. (...)          Re: YATA Selling MOC Instructions... —Doyle Nelson
(...) That’s one reason why I will not create a model for selling. 1. Too many gray pieces 2. Printing, plus pieces would not make it cost effective. 3.          Re: YATA Selling MOC Instructions... —Kerry Raymond
(...) True, it is easier to copy, but if someone is wanting to try out the idea of selling instructions for MOCs and doesn't want to make the large capital investment needed to get colour books printed, then CD-ROM would seem the way to go.
