Yes, it has begun. I dropped by a Target at 8:30 this morning and the
clearance toys were at 75% off *and* had been consolidated into one
half-aisle. It looked to me as if the markdown had been at least a day
earlier---*all* the Lego that was there when I visited last weekend was
gone, including the Jack Stone.
Oh, and at Wal-Mart the Defense Archers (4811) which were in the regular
section last weekend were apparently clearanced over the last few days.
I found exactly one, and it rang up at 75% off, even though everything
else was still 50%. I suspect that they just missed these since they were
on a rack (not on the shelf) last summer when Wal-Mart clearanced Knight's
Kingdom, but then eventually noticed them and immediately clearanced them
all the way. Anyone else notice this?
