I kinda had the same problem with my first order. I placed my order,
they were 2 items short of what I ordered. They gave me the choice of
doing the deposit into my account or ordering something else in place of
what was out. It turned out that they received more of the item that
they
were out of,so everything turned out ok. (not much help to you I guess)
What item is out of stock? I checked the website and the Lego selection
looked the same.
Maybe someone would be willing to go in on an order with you. Tell us
what
the dollar amount is, maybe someone on Lugnet would like a product with
that
similar dollar amount and you could tell DYA you're going to amend your
order
rather than work out a refund. I don't know, maybe that would be too
confusing.
It is pretty strange that a refund has to take place thru deposit to
your
checking account rather than a credit on your charge card.

| (...) I ordered 2 6097 Night Lords Castle and 2 6497 - Twisted Time Train. I was told that some else ordered some 6097's ahead of me and there was only 1 left for me. As of right now, 6097 is still on DYA's page, but 6497 is no longer listed. Go (...) (25 years ago, 13-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)
