Hi All,
Thanks to John (and others) for the input and the info pointing towards DYA. I
just ordered 2 blackcat trucks from them (which BTW still appear as valid items
in the European S@H online Catalog) Sadly, for me, This information comes after
I have purchased 2 supercars 8880 via ebay one for $300  and the other  at
$200. I had completely missed the retail offerings of this set( still just
emerging from my Lego darkness , LOL) and was willing to "go the price" just to
have the neat parts that are in those sets. <Sigh> .. It could have been 5
super cars : )  but such is the life of the uninformed and I am glad to have
the sets!
Thanks again For the info and have a great weekend!
      John

Although there has not been a lot of marvelous conversation on RTL
lately, the praiseful threads about DYA are very accurate.  I have purchased
a number of sets from DYA and have been very happy every time.  I am sure
you will be happy very soon, too!  Happy building.

In one of my rare forays into RTL, I saw someone had gotten an 8880
Super Car from a site in France (www.dya-shopping.com) for less than
retail.

So is the consensus that I'll be kissing the bricks of two great big
Lego sets in a few days, or merely kissing the money goodbye?

Based on my experience....get ready to smooch 3,086 bricks!!

I hope you're right!  I ordered a Red Beard Runner and am anxiously
awaiting it's arrival...

(...) I gotthe trucks today, Friday 7/9, and they are sealed boxes with minor shelf wear. I will certainly do business with them again : ) Thanks again for the info! John (25 years ago, 9-Jul-99, to lugnet.market.shopping)
