G'day folks, My first LUGNET post here actually..., aside from the great thread I had going with myself over in /TEST :] I only got back into this buying LEGO thing recently after a lapse of sanity of about 15 years..., what was I thinking??! :] (...)   Re: Stupid: Bought an Open Box

(...) Just call LEGO Consumer Affairs. Replacement parts are free (in most cases, including yours). (25 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Stupid: Bought an Open Box

(...) Thanx Mark. I caught a thread along this line in the Star Wars group, where somebody was missing a Boba Fett from an opened Slave I set. The issue came up of whether LEGO should be replacing the parts free of charge. In cases of missing parts (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Stupid: Bought an Open Box

Re: Stupid: Bought an Open Box

(...) *grin* I just got a 6456 Mission Control that I found on a Fred Meyer clearance table for US$80 clearanced at 50% off. It had been opened, and about 33% of the pieces were missing... but it had some pink 2x10 plates, and some (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Stupid: Bought an Open Box

(...) LOL... I picked up a Duplo tub on clearance at TRU last weekend. It had been beat up, opened, taped and re-taped many, many times. Marked down to $4.90 from the $15-ish range. When I brought it home and performed a brickventory, we discovered (...) (25 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Hardly. If you have more than about 5 parts these days, they WILL charge you. Mind you, they don't charge much, but the days of just about everything free are long gone. (...) -- Tom Stangl ***(URL) Visual FAQ home ***(URL) Bay Area DSMs (25 years ago, 29-Jan-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)
